I sat down at a 5/10 table last night not planning on actualy playing. well I was accidently delt into the hand and had QQ. Not wanting to lose many chips I decided to limo the button "something I never do" . The flop game 4Q5 rainbow. this was the perfect flop for me. my opponent lead out for $40 and I made it $120 to go. The turn was another 5 giving me the boat. I bet out 80 and my opponent reraised 40 to go all in. I obv called and won a $504 pot. not bad for a hand i didnt mean to play. And earlier today I won a $100 pot at .25/50 when i flopped a set of J's against someones pocket Q's. So not a bad day overall even though I am running and playing like crap in tournaments.

Another Good Day
So yesterday decided to play a few tournaments. I started off on stars witht the $20,000 guarantee. I got off to a great start when I held KK against QQ twice. I got my stack up to about 15k but somehow managed to bubble the tournament. I then played the $3r which I had a hard time getting a stack. Thelast tournament I played was a $5 plo h/l tournament with about 450 people. Well I managed to get down to 5 people and we all had about even stacks. Everyone agreed to a chop and I got a little less than second place money which was about $320. So all in all it was a pretty good day. I have to go to a wine tasting this afternoon so I don't know if I will be playing any or not. Guess it depends on how much wine I decide to drink. Anyway I will probably post about that too.

Poker Poker Its All Skill
It has been a shile since I have updated my blog. I have been taking some time off from poker and focusing on other thigs. I went to Tunica from Dec.27-29 and didn't do so well. I was playing 3-6 limit holdem for the most part. The first night I ended up about $65 and the next night I lost about $125. Not too bad of a trip I guess.
Yesterday I decided to start playing more online. I played a $4 180 person sng and ended up taking it down for a $212 profit. Today I woke up and entered a $8 tournament on stars. I was doing very well in the tournament and had about 90k when this hand came up.

I have no idea why this guy decided to push here with just A8. I was playing pretty tight and gave him no reason to call but he did and scooped a large pot when he spiked an 8 on the flop. It gets very frustrating when you play good poker and take a beat like this. Anyway this guy went on to take 5th in the tournament and win about $700 while I won $50 for over 4 hours of work. But what can i say thats how the game works.
I also played a $11 double shootout to try and win a seat into the Sunday million tomorrow but my KK ran into QQ and they flopped a Q. Then I played a 3r to the mil. but got nothing going. Well I am going to try and keep this blog updated so check back soon to see how I am doing.

Need a new sng challenge
I have decided that I need a new sng challenge to keep me motivated through the swings. I want to do some type of challenge consisting of 500 sng's. I am going to try and complete these 500 sng's in a months time and also try to keep my ROI above 10%. I will probably start this on July 6th. If anyone has any better ideas for a sng challenge please let me know.
